About Suzanne Skov
Suzanne Skov is senior counsel in the Business Department of Brown & Streza, LLP. She has over 20 years of experience handling the legal and business aspects of real estate acquisitions and dispositions, debt structuring, commercial leasing, and asset management for all commercial asset classes.
She works with project sponsors and investors to structure transactions that include exempt offerings such as private equity funds, single asset offerings, tenant in common (TIC) syndication structures, and real estate joint ventures.
Suzanne is experienced in borrower financing and re-financing and structuring loan workouts. Suzanne also represents land development landowners and applicants in the environmental and permitting processes, including the California Environmental Quality Act and federal and state Endangered Species Act compliance.
Before joining Brown & Streza, LLP, Suzanne was the general counsel for commercial real estate private equity firms where she served on the executive committees, handled all real estate transactions and financing, and provided legal advice on general corporate matters. She also served as the corporate secretary.
Suzanne holds a Juris Doctor from the University of San Diego School of Law, where she was the recipient of the Irvin J. Kahn Award for Excellence in Real Property Courses for her graduating class.
She resides in San Clemente, California, with her husband, and enjoys golf, skiing, reading, and travel.
