About Fiona T. LeCong-Ly, J.D., LL.M.

Fiona heads the Estate Administration Department, working closely with trustees during the post-mortem administration process to ensure that the trustees are meeting their fiduciary responsibilities under California law. She also advises individuals and families through the complex estate planning process in order to create an estate plan that achieves their wealth transfer goals, as well as, reduces the risk of estate tax, income tax, and California property tax issues. Placing a high value on the attention to detail, Fiona is an efficient and thorough advocate for her clients.

Fiona earned her Bachelor of Arts in Business Economics from the University of California, Los Angeles. She then continued her studies at Loyola Law School, where she earned her Juris Doctor degree and her Master of Laws in Taxation (with Distinction).

While in law school, Fiona served as Senior Production Editor of the International and Comparative Law Review and helped low-income tax payers with the preparation of their income tax returns through the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance program. Fiona also holds a nonpracticing (inactive) license as a California Certified Public Accountant and was previously a Tax Manager at Deloitte Tax, LLP in their Private Client Services practice group.

Fiona lives in Irvine with her husband and their son. On the weekends, they can often be found at Disneyland, local museums, and the Segerstrom Center for the Arts.
