BIO

​

Bria Chappell is an attorney with the Business and Real Estate Department at Brown & Streza, LLP. Bria assists clients with a wide range of business transactions including, but not limited to, employment matters, corporate governance, succession planning, commercial transactions, and mergers and acquisitions. She provides all-around business and legal guidance in various industries.

​

Bria earned her Juris Doctor from California Western School of Law in San Diego, California. While in law school, Bria completed a business law concentration with honors and earned the highest grades in her legal writing and research courses. She was also an Associate Editor with the California Western Law Review and International Law Journal. During law school, Bria took advantage of many opportunities to learn and grow her skills in business transactions by working with the legal team at a marketing agency and an internet and media rights clinic. Bria earned her Bachelor of the Arts in Political Science and African American Studies from the University of California, Los Angeles, where she earned Dean’s Honors.

Prior to joining Brown & Streza, Bria worked in business and corporate law, including international business consulting and trademark law, at a law firm in San Diego. Bria was able to build the foundation for her understanding of business transactions and negotiate a variety of contracts.

In her free time, Bria enjoys spending time with family and friends and exploring new restaurants and shops.
