About the Event

Speaker: Dustin Nichols

Join us as we examine the basics behind funding a Private Retirement Trust (“PRT”) and learn about the unrivaled statutory exemption protection of CCP § 704.115(b) that is available only to California residents. We will examine:

  • the importance of retirement analytics and how the calculations contained in the resulting Retirement Appraisal prove-up the Participant’s retirement need and provide a roadmap for the appropriate annual funding that would be required to fulfill that need
  • various funding options by identifying specific personal and business assets that are, and are not, appropriate for funding
  • the legality of funding the PRT by clearing the funding landscape, including solvency and other necessary analyses
  • funding and exemption protection potential of a Participant with a net worth of $20 million, with the PRT Funding Basics in mind
