Shelly Teleoglou is an associate business and tax attorney at Brown and Streza, LLP in Orange County, CA. Her practice includes business organizations, mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, tax planning, commercial transactions, and general business representative matters.  Shelly advises on tax law issues including Section 1031 exchanges and S corporation transactions. She also drafts private offering materials, business organizational documents, and other business agreements.

Shelly received her Bachelor of Science in Business Management, summa cum laude, from North Carolina State University, her Juris Doctor from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, and her Master of Law (LL.M.) in Taxation from New York University School of Law. Her LL.M. studies focused on business taxation.

While earning her J.D. and LL.M., Shelly researched tax law issues, including inbound transactions, partnership tax, and tax procedure for law firms in New York and San Francisco; interned in United States District Court; and worked with start-ups at the North Carolina Small Business and Technology Development Center.

Shelly is a member of the Tax Law Sections of the American Bar Association, State Bar of California, and Orange County Bar Association. She enjoys travelling and hiking.
