Michael Burns is a corporate and real estate attorney who represents public and private entities seeking legal counsel on their business and financial objectives. His corporate practice consists of entity selection and formation, securities and employment arrangements, preparation of letters of intent, purchase and sale of businesses, and general corporate representation.
In the area of real estate, Michael represents builders, developers, and investors in the leasing, purchase, sale, and development of commercial real property.
Michael counsels individuals and entities on the federal income tax impact of corporate and real estate transactions, including advising on the tax effect of mergers and acquisitions, partnership allocations, and IRC §1031 exchange requirements.
