Vanessa Gregor is a partner with the Orange County, California law firm of Brown & Streza LLP. Vanessa’s areas of practice include estate planning, probate, trust law, estate and trust administration and compliance, counseling of closely held businesses, and related tax planning. She also represents taxpayers in tax controversies related to estate and gift tax issues. Vanessa is certified as a specialist in Estate Planning, Trust and Probate Law by the State Bar of California Board of Legal Specialization.
In 2011 and 2012, Vanessa was named a “Southern California Super Lawyer” by Los Angeles Magazine – a distinction recognizing only 5% of the attorneys in Southern California (excluding San Diego).
Vanessa received her Juris Doctor degree from Pepperdine University School of Law and was admitted to the Bar in 1992. She continued the graduate level study of taxation and estate planning at the University of Florida College of Law where she received her Master of Law in Taxation (LL.M.). Before joining Brown & Streza in 1998, Vanessa spent several years at a "Big 6" accounting firm as a Manager of Deloitte & Touche LLP's Southern California Estate Gift and Trust practice.
Since she lived in Australia with her family for a time, we consider her our "Aussie", who now resides in Corona Del Mar. An avid tennis player, most weekends Vanessa can usually be found on the courts.
